Petro Telemetrics Inc. is a solutions provider, bringing the most advanced telemetrics solutions to the upstream petroleum and natural gas sectors.  PTI focuses specifically on each customer’s unique needs, crafting customized, cost-effective solutions that ensure a high level of security to protect data and assets.  

PTI can function as a systems integrator, a system developer, an installation and roll-out contractor, or all of the above.  

PTI’s primary offering is an advanced wireless mesh network that is capable of delivering vast levels of bandwidth securely and reliably in areas ranging from a single building, to an oil platform, to an entire oilfield.  Our experienced team of engineers, installers, developers, and government interface specialists can deploy our network rapidly and efficiently, and maintain maximum network operations throughout the harshest conditions.

PTI has chosen a mesh network topography because of its flexibility, ease of deployment, and self-healing characteristics.  PTI’s access points can contain up to six (6) software-defined radios, each radio programmable to operate anywhere within the 2GHz to 6GHz spectrum.  Any radio within an access point can be designated to communicate with a subscriber unit, laptop, IP security camera, or other wireless network enabled devices, while other radios within that same access point can be configured to provide backhaul bandwidth between the access points.  

These and other features allow our wireless network to outperform many existing hardwired networks while offering universal, faultless access throughout the coverage area.

Once PTI’s wireless mesh network has been deployed, we can offer a wide variety of services that have been optimized for use on the PTI network, including but not limited to personnel and asset tracking, security,  mobile applications, SCADA applications, and more.

The PTI network is also capable of connecting securely to most standard network interfaces.    PTI has developed special interface devices to allow the connection of many legacy devices and systems safely and securely to the PTI wireless mesh network.  

PTI can offer single or dual level encryption as well as enhanced virtual private network connections to guarantee extraordinary levels of data security.
